Delete your Arcantia account

Last updated:

You can delete your Arcantia account and all the data linked to it at any time, whether it is a registered account or a guest account.

From the app

Open Arcantia, open the menu at the top right and choose “Delete account”. The app will ask you to confirm. Deletion happens immediately, in a single operation, and cannot be undone. The app’s cache on the phone is cleared too.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to info@arcantia.app from your account’s email address, or tell us which address you used. We complete the request within 30 days at most; in practice, within a few days. We will confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

  • The account and sign-in credentials.
  • Readings, spreads and their interpretations.
  • Conversations with the chat and with the lunar guide.
  • Journal, notes, intentions, agenda entries and lunar reminders.
  • Birth details, saved location and preferences.
  • Memory, portrait and monthly reflections.
  • Learning progress, games and statistics.
  • Usage statistics linked to the account and AI usage counters.
  • The purchase data RevenueCat holds for the account (the linked customer and its purchase history). Google Play, however, keeps its own records of the purchase.

What is kept, unlinked from you, and why

  • Financial records, anonymised (without your identifier). Accounting and tax law requires the transaction to be kept; it is no longer linked to you.
  • Content reports you filed, without your account identifier, so a report about a dangerous AI answer can still be reviewed.
  • AI usage costs (amount of text processed, model and date), with no user attached.

Crash reports are not linked to any account and are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Your subscription

Deleting the account does not cancel your Google Play subscription, and neither does uninstalling the app: only Google Play can cancel it. Cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions; otherwise it will keep renewing.

What stays on the phone

Reminders you have already scheduled live on the phone. If you get one after deleting your account, uninstalling the app removes them all.
